The global oil market has witnessed severe fluctuations in the past few months. The research team believes that energy price fluctuations have direct impact on the sustainability of water supply and wastewater facilities. This research aims at assessing the potential impacts of oil price fluctuations on economic sustainability of water and wastewater services and to develop appropriate coping strategies in Ghana and Palestine. The research findings will be employed to provide guidelines and strategies for policy-makers to reform the water and wastewater pricing policies as well as the subsidies to the energy sector in the two partner countries.
